A few years back I bought a few of the more adult aimed Transformers collectables to display and represent my childhood.
The artist in me also liked creating a few of the characters they hadn't made yet and it's quite natural when re-creating a character you read about in the past to wonder who they are now, what happened to see them in a new body., and what other changes have happened in their world, so it grows.
Unfortunately, Binaltech are 1:24 scale, and if you want more than  just cars, you find yourself quickly running out of money and display space.
Not to mention that, whilst some main line figures fit in really well, others look totally out of place, and you wind up wanting to build larger version of existing toys.

When the film came out and adults paid attention to the franchise again, Hasbro "brilliantly" cancelled the adult aimed lines and I pretty much decided it was pointless to continue collecting in this way.

A couple of months back I picked up a R.I.D. Scourge junker and replaced his hands with Alt hands and it whilst I was looking at him in his new state that I decided to do what I had been doing, only  on a smaller scale, which is what this journal is for.

This is my take on Transformers Classics.
